Entrance is free and there are plenty of fun rides that kids like that range from $1.00 to $2.00 per ride and depending on the ride. Oldtown has plenty of restaurants which are very economical that serve large servings of food. From pizza to steak sandwiches, Oldtown offers an economical and fun time for visitors that want to do some fun things with children other than the theme parks.
Finally, this Howard Johnson has an excellent guest services department in the lobby. Should the theme parks be one’s ultimate destination, guest services can save guests at least 50% off of the regular price of admission tickets to the parks. Next door there’s an International House of Pancakes (IHOP) restaurant which is open 24 hours. One saves 10% at the IHOP for staying at the Howard Johnson. And, customers save 15% off by showing the previous day’s receipt. If one is willing to travel four blocks up the road, Shoney’s offers a breakfast where children eat free with an adult purchase of a breakfast from 7am until 11am. There are plenty of places to eat all types of food at economical prices.
